June 30th will mark the end of the first campaign fundraising period of the 2017 election season.
I would like to personally thank all those who have contributed, volunteered, or are considering to do so.
While running a successful campaign is costly, we have endeavored to operate in the same fashion we would expect our city government to operate. We live within our means and make sure every dollar spent is maximized and necessary.
I am proud to say that our fundraising efforts have been a success. I recognize that asking people to give their hard earned money carries responsibilities. The responsibility to use the money wisely and treat it as the valuable resource that it is, just as with the expenditure of “City Money”. In seriousness, I realize that there really is no such thing as “City Money” it comes from the residents of our community and it belongs to them. I will never lose sight of this reality.
With the end of the first reporting period only a few short days away, I’m asking everyone who has considered a donation to my campaign to kindly make it before June 30th in order to end the period on a high note. Of course I’m honored to receive, and will be campaigning for more donations up until election day, but making a great showing during the first reporting period is a goal and a priority.
Your donations go a long way in this campaign. We have held events and will continue to hold them over the next four months. We have acquired banners, yard signs and mail pieces which are used to get our message out. Without your generosity, none of this can happen.
Donating to this campaign is easy, just click here to see our secure, on-line donation page. I’d like to once again thank everyone who has taken an interest in my campaign. Without your support, none of this would be possible!
