This past Saturday I had the privilege to share an afternoon BBQ with a terrific group of people.
These people took valuable time out of their busy day to volunteer with my campaign for RPV City Council.
I want them and everyone to know how touched I am by their showing of support.
We met at the beautiful Hesse Park, just off of Hawthorne Blvd. It was another amazing Southern California day and the park is a wonderfull setting for any gathering. Here in RPV we are truly blessed to have such wonderful places to enjoy.
After a tasty lunch, we all went on to “Walk the Precinct”, talking with residents and handing out our campaign literature. It was a fantastic experience to talk with so many different people in such a short span of time. They welcomed us on their porches and we talked about the issues they hold in high concern.
This is just the beginning. There will be many more BBQ lunch and Walk the Precinct events over the next few months. We would be so happy if you would consider joining us. Great people, great conversation, and a chance to walk off the lunch. What could be more fun!
